• 300g Minced meet (Pork, Beef or Chicken) • 3 cloves Garlic (minced) • 1 handful Coriander leaves (Chopped) • 2 Tbsp VG oil • 2 Tbsp BE green curry paste • 1 1/2 Tbsp BE fish sauce • 50g Bread crumbs • 1/2 tsp Black pepper • 1 tsp Sugar • 300g (1 pack) BE Green curry sauce • 1 handful of Thai sweet basil

How to cook Green curry meatballs

Follow these easy steps to bring authentic Thai flavors to your dishes.

  • STEP 1
    • Heat 1 Tbsp oil in a sauce pan and stir-fry the Green curry paste until aroma develops and remove from the heat.
  • STEP 2
    • In a mixing bowl, combine the minced meat, bread crumbs, garlic, curry paste, fish sauce, pepper, sugar, coriander and stir well.
  • STEP 3
    • Shape meatballs with your preparation (about 3 cm or 2 inch diameter)
  • STEP 4
    • Grill over a hot pan with 1 Tbsp of VG oil on on a BBQ
  • STEP 5
    • Serve garnished with chopped Thai sweet basil over steamed Thai Jasmine rice. coated with green curry sauce (optional)

Chef’s Tip

In this video we used minced beef, but you can also use pork or even chicken for this recipe. The green curry sauce is a lovely addition to round up this dish, but it is optional. These grilled meatballs are wonderful in a sandwich, a bit like a kefta, with fresh greens and a yogurt based sauce !
