— Blue
Elephant International Plc., was honored as second time recipient of
the “Best Service Provider” at the Prime Minister’s Export
Awards 2007, recognizing the outstanding service offered around the
world by Blue Elephant Royal Thai Cuisine Restaurants, one of the
leading international Thai cuisine chains.
This is the 16th year of the Prime Minister's Export
Awards, which are organized by the Department of Export Promotion (DEP),
Ministry of Commerce, and were held at Government House's Santi
Maitri Building. Blue Elephant was recognized for "Best Service:
For Outstanding performance as The Best Service Provider”, with the
award being presented by Prime Minister General Surayud Chulanont.
Mrs. Nooror Somany Steppe, Founding Partner and Director of Blue
Elephant Plc., upon receiving the Award, happily stated that, “The
entire management and all the employees of Blue Elephant are both
honored and delighted that the Thai government has chosen to
recognize Blue Elephant as the Best Service Provider again after we
received this award in 2001.”

service and restaurants in the furthering of Thai exports, and we

The Prime Minister’s Export Awards are organized and presented
annually by the Department of Export Promotion, Ministry of
Commerce, on behalf of the Royal Thai Government. The Awards were
founded to honor and encourage outstanding Thai exporters and
producers with the primary objective of promoting the growth of the
Thai export sector. Since its establishment on 1992 the Award's
have been driven by the vision of developing original and unique
Thai products of the highest
quality
for the world market. This year, is the 16th of PM Award,
which honors 17 exporters from the five categories of
