Each year the Blue Elephant Thai
restaurant – Fulham’s temple to floral art hold a ‘regional’
food festival. This year it runs from
Mon 2-Mon 30 Aug and
the dishes come from the Blue Elephant restaurant in
Bangkok.
‘Bag of gold foie gras’ is made with French foie gras
deep-fried in a rice paper wrap and served with tamarind
sauce, while ‘Emerald crocodile’ is crocodile meat marinated
in Thai whisky and herbs before being wrapped
in pandanus leaves and served with lemongrass sauce.
There will be two special three-course
menus at £40 and £45 per person.
