Recently, Blue Elephant Thai Restaurant and Cooking School was
presented an honored plaque from Krasetsart University as the major
contributor to the university’s Human Resource Development Project
to promote Thai food to the world. The project is the cooperation
between Thai government and Krasetsart University to train and
develop skills of professional Thai chef as well as to increase
management skills necessarily to run Thai restaurant overseas.
Furthermore the project is to promote the trained professional chef
a unique opportunity to work in or run restaurant abroad. The
project, with the length of 3 years as approved by the cabinet, is
the response to government’s proactive policy to promote Thai
cuisine as ‘Kitchen of the World’ and to the growing demand of Thai
restaurant around the world.
