"For the first time ever, the Blue Elephant Malta will evoke
Memories of Chiang Mai’s unique culture, traditions and enchanting hospitality
as well as the sights, scents and taste of this colourful region.

Chiang Mai, Thailand’s second biggest city,
presents a wonderful contrast with Bangkok.

Most of our Thai chefs, come from this region, and so, do the team members.
So all team members are creating amazing dishes, from their home town,
exclusive for this festival.

Traditional northern silk costumes shall highlight further the evening, and
on top of that you shall all be sensing the magic of this region, when our
team members shall perform Thai dancing with the KHIM instrument, played
live in the background.

STARTERS
Laab Talay
Grilled mix seafood flavoured with lemongrass, kaffie lime leaves, mint
and tossed in a lemon and fish sauce dressing 
Thod Mun Kung
A crisp golden cake from minced prawns in breadcrumbs. 
Pheuak Sot Sai
Deep fried taro stuffing with Philadelphia cheese and crab meat & water chestnut 
Chin Ping
Strips of grilled marinated venison served with a cucumber and peanut sauce. 
Sai ka Khup Salad
Smoked sausage with fresh mango salad 
Doy Toong
Deep fried chicken minced and mix vegetable wrapped in rice paper with cashew nuts

SOUP
Menam Ping
A  clear  soup with beef and seaweed

MAIN COURSES
Kaeng Hanglay
Kaeng Hangley is a Northern Thai
style of slowly braised lamb in a medium spicy rich gentle sauce 
Aeb Kung
Prawns cooked with chilli paste and wrapped in banana leaves
Veal Phad Khing Sod
Stir fried slices of veal with fresh ginger and oyster sauce 
Ped Makarm
Grilled duck breast with tamarind sauce  
Salmon Rad Phrik Kaeng
Fried fillet of salmon with chilli sauce 

ACCOMPANIMENT

Crispy stir fried asparagus, mange tout and broccoli
