Good natured, pleasant and ever friendly Khun Surapol is First Chef
at the Blue Elephant London. He is an organiser and is currently in
charge of all the food orders that are placed on a day to day basis
by this immense & busy restaurant.
Khun Surapol is indeed a very experienced chef, having worked
in far flung areas of the globe such as Saudi Arabia and the
Philippines.

Cooking is all that he ever wanted to do and that
is why, at the tender age of seventeen, the young Surapol
joined the prestigious President Hotel in Bangkok as a Cook
Commis. His first big break came in 1986 when he joined the
Shangri-la Hotel in Bangkok. This was the start of an alliance
with this big hotel chain which would take him to Hong Kong,
Kuala Lumpur and Manila for Food Promotions and prominent job
positions. Khun Surapol was directly responsible for the
opening of the Salathip restaurant in the Shangri-la Hotel in
Manila 1993. His abilities were put to full use when he
actively helped to organise and run the three months
pre-opening training program, along with planning,
implementing and supervising the new menu, and cost control.
With this amazing experience behind him, it was inevitable
that Khun Surapol join the ever expanding and international
Blue Elephant Group in 1999. |
