Come and celebrate the Thai Fruit Festival 2015!

Every year, Thailand celebrates its abundance of tropical fruits with the Thai Fruit Festival, that takes place between April and June. Join us in our celebrations this year, and you can experience:

Mangosteen: A fruit that boosts your immune system, microbiological balance, joint flexibility and provides mental support! Some proponents claim that it can help fight off diarrhea, infections, tuberculosis and many other illnesses.

Longan: The Longan fruit is a rich source of many vitamins, minerals and other nutrients. This fruit contains vitamins B1, B2, B3 and C, as well as minerals such as copper, iron, potassium and magnesium. It is a good source of dietary fibre and protein as well.

Rose apple: Rose apples are rich in vitamin C, dietary fibre, vitamin A, calcium, thiamin, niacin, iron, sulfur, and potassium. In terms of organic compounds, rose apples contain jambosine, betulinic acid, and friedelolactone.

Rambutan: Rambutans are a good source of copper. Although your body require only a small amount of copper, this trace mineral is crucial for the proper functioning of your body. Eating this fruit may help kill intestinal parasites, and it may also aid in lessening symptoms of diarrhea.

Lychee: The significant amount of dietary fibre in lychee, as in most fruits and vegetables, helps add bulk to your stool and increases your digestive health. Perhaps the most significant nutrient in lychee is vitamin C, and this fruit has more than 100% of the daily requirement of ascorbid acid in a single serving.

Sapodilla: It contains a high amount of Vitamin A. According to research, Vitamin A helps in improving vision even during old age. The high content of tannins makes sapota or chikoo an important anti-inflammatory agent.

Guava: Guava is very helpful for those who want to lose weight without compromising their intake of proteins, vitamins and fiber. Guava is very high in roughage and rich in vitamins, proteins and minerals, but it has no cholesterol and a low number of digestible carbohydrates. It is a very filling snack and satisfies the appetite very easily.

Mango: Mango can also treat acidity and poor digestion because of an enzyme found in the fruit which soothes the stomach. Due to the high amounts of fibre found in mango, it can be helpful in preventing constipation. Antioxidants are nutrients in our food that work as slowing or preventative agents against oxidative damage to our bodies.
