Mango Madness Menu

An experience not to miss!
Menu available during 20th April – 20th May 2009

Thailand is famed for its delicious mangoes. The finest mangoes come from the villages around Sothorn Wararam Temple in Cha cheong sao Province. According to legend an image of the Lord Buddha (Luang Pho Sothorn ) was found floating in a stream by the villagers in the area and they used all their efforts to pull it out and when they had done so they built a temple and installed the image in it, where it has remained ever since.

Villagers in the vicinity of the temple believe that as reward for the benevolence rescuing his image and placing it in the temple Luang Pho Sothorn made the mangoes grow in abundance and become the tastiest in Thailand.

Our Founding Partner and Star Chef Khun Nooror Somany-Steppe who was born in Cha cheong sao area was inspired to promote the “Nam Dok Mai” mangoes grown in her village and has prepared a selection of creative dishes  enthused by these mangoes for your pleasure during the mango season.
